Misplaced Rage

If you have been keeping up with the news, you will know what I am talking about. If not, you must live on the moon…

Where is the outrage for the victims? The abusers are protected, while the abused continue to suffer. How do you think they felt when the riots broke out? What was their pain when they saw the outrage over the firings? Most are concerned with the legacy of a corrupt University that protected the guilty at the expense of the innocent. What kind of a world do we live in? What has happened to us? Where is our moral outrage at this crime? How would you feel if it was your child who suffered and no one did anything?

A culture of corruption has permeated every corner of our society; even the church. We are willing to tolerate everything. We have allowed ourselves to become insensate to the suffering of the innocent at the expense of entertainment. I don’t know these men; but I do know that anyone who had knowledge and did not do everything in his power to make it stop, is guilty and should be punished to the fullest extent of the law.

The day is coming when all men will stand before their Maker and give an account for their lives. There will be no “deals” made; there will be no “payoffs” to keep those who suffered quiet; the truth will be proclaimed for all to see and hear. Many have waited a long time for justice. But make no mistake, justice will come and it will be a terrible day of reckoning. The only pardon available is through Jesus Christ. May God have mercy.
